Rates & Fees

I (Kapila) understand that starting therapy is a big-step in many ways including time, trust, and finances. That’s why I work with you from the start in a collaborative way to define the goals, helping you move forward without administrative delays.

I am honest and open about the process and cost, and we will always prioritize what’s best for your well-being. The rates reflect the average for high-quality therapeutic services in the Bay Area. Every individual’s needs are unique, and I am open to working with you through the free confidential 15 min. consultation. In this conversation, we can talk about what you’re looking for, explore what treatment might look like, and go over any questions you have about our fees or approach.

Mango Family Therapy is an out-of-network (OON) provider, which means clients are responsible for payment at the time of service. However, we are insurance-friendly, and many clients are able to receive reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits.

  • Individual Intake (typically applies to only the 1st session) per session (55 mins) : $280

  • Couple/Family Intake (typically applies to only the 1st session) per session (55 min): $320

  • Ongoing Individual Sessions (55 mins): $225

  • Ongoing Couple Sessions (55 mins): $250

I always recommend that you call your insurance provider directly to confirm the details of your coverage and benefits if they can cover out of network..

Reduced Fee

I do understand in many cases where your unable to afford the full fee and can offer a reduced fee, based on your proof of income and/or tax-filing or other valid documentation. I am firm believer in that everyone of us who needs care should be able to get care to the best of my abilities. Therefore, I can, and have supported clients even on a pro-bono basis.

Payment

As a profession I/we expect full payment for services rendered. Payment is due before or by the latest by end of each session.

Cancellation Policy

We have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. If you do not contact us at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session, you will be charged in full for any missed or canceled sessions. Same week reschedules are sometimes possible but are not guaranteed.
